Bareilly College Bareilly

        The  Bareilly  College,  Bareilly is one  of  the
oldest institutions  of  the  country, its  teachers  and
students  have  actively  participated   in  movement  of
Independence  and the celebrations of Independence Day of
1947.  There was a time when only Britishers could be its
Principals.  It has had the privilege of being affiliated
to Calcutta   University,  Allahabad   University,   Agra
University  and  now to M.J.P.Rohilkhand University.   In
1900 there  were only 100 students and now the figure has
gone up to  over 16,000.  A college having traditions  of
value based  education has to be properly maintained  and
kept on the  progress because its students are  scattered
all over the world and their feelings are associated with
their old  college.  The phenomenal growth and all  round
progress in academic as well as in other extra curricular
activities  are  the  real achievements of  the  college.
Needless  to  write  that  this is all  due  to  constant
interest   and   active   participation  of   Management,
Principal,  Teaching  Staff  and the students.  

        It is a matter of great pleasure that the College
has added a number of new feathers in its cap in academic
field.  New    subjects    like    Environment   Science,
Electronics  and Computer Science, Office Management  and
other vocational   subjects  which   are  certainly   job
oriented  are being run efficiently and effectively.  Now
college is  successfully  on  move with  seven  faculties
Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, B.Ed., B.B.A.& B.C.A.
