An official Census 2011 detail of Bareilly, a district of Uttar Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Uttar Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Bareilly District of Uttar Pradesh.
In 2011, Bareilly had population of 4,448,359 of which male and female were 2,357,665 and 2,090,694 respectively. In 2001 census, Bareilly had a population of 3,618,589 of which males were 1,934,119 and remaining 1,684,470 were females. Bareilly District population constituted 2.23 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Bareilly District was at 2.18 percent of Maharashtra population.
There was change of 22.93 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Bareilly District recorded increase of 27.66 percent to its population compared to 1991.
With regards to Sex Ratio in Bareilly, it stood at 887 per 1000 male compared to 2001 census figure of 871.
